With the introduction of the new suspension geometry for the Polaris Khaos sled for 2020, there were a couple of updates to the rear of the vehicle.
The biggest change was the increased travel in the front torque arm. By lengthening the shock and limiter strap slightly, the added front torque arm travel will allow the vehicle to transfer (wheelie) more than the standard Axys suspension geometry.
For those customers that want to experience more Khaos like geometry, we are currently offering two Khaos conversion kits.
The first kit is for existing customers with Raptor Axys RMK shock packages in either our standard or Kinetic Series. The kit includes a set of Shaft Clamps, Eyelet, Loctite and optional Limiter Strap. This kit allows you to replace the eyelet on the front track shock to accommodate the longer limiter strap position for more front torque arm travel and increased suspension transfer. With the two position limiter strap, it’s easy to go back to the stock setup if you decide to.
The second kit is for Walker Evans shocks on the Axys RMK. That kit also includes a set of Shaft Clamps, Eyelet, Loctite and Limiter Strap. This kit allows you to replace the eyelet on the Walker Evans front track shock to accommodate the longer limiter strap position for more front torque arm travel and increased suspension transfer. With the two-position limiter strap also included in this kit, it’s easy to go back to the stock setup if you decide to.
