Shock Service

To be sure your shocks are operating at the pinnacle of performance, it’s important to have them serviced regularly.

How often should I have my shocks serviced?

Shock service intervals are different for each situation. Year one is the most important rebuild. We typically recommend that you send in your premium aftermarket shocks after the first season so they can be gone through by a professional with the right tools for rebuilds.

You may be a rider who loves jumping Volkswagens, but only ride 1000 miles each season. Or, you may love to trail ride and put on 2000-3000 miles a season. Either way, it’s important to realize that oils breakdown just like they do in an engine and the properties of the shock fluid change, which change the performance of the shocks. To keep your premium shocks performing like new, it’s important to service them regularly.
